Once again...

...for my non-existent readers, I am showing my face here...just to show it.

Working on a collection of short stories which I'd like to publish on lulu.com (since amazon.com is exorbitant in its costs), but have been beset with a host of problems. My files to open Microsoft Works Word Processor have been "...deleted, corrupted, or moved." So, I'm facing having to purchase another copy of it.

I can't burn CDs anymore--that function is gone, too.

It's a rough time to be a struggling writer, although my first published work is coming out in less than a month--a short story in a volume of short stories called Security Blankets: How Peanuts Touched Our Lives.

In the past year, I started another novel which is on hold while I try to get my short story collection put together. It just seems like there are such veritable mountain ranges of obstacles standing in my way. It's really hard to keep hanging in there.

My family has had diverse health problems, too. My wife and daughter both have had a rough time of it.

Work has been tiring (zookeeping can be hard work!).

Brojed.org has been on the fritz from a hacker attack, and the webmaster's modifications have presently made it impossible for me to log on, since cookies are disabled in my hard drive with all the problems it's had.

Things are so hard! But, enough whining. I'm not dead yet.
